PLANT CITY, Fla. – A Plant City man was killed in a crash that happened around 11:10 p,m on Tuesday night.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the man was traveling westbound in a pickup truck on SR-60, near Smith Ryals Road, when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway.
The pickup truck departed the roadway, entered the north shoulder, collided with a guardrail, and was
redirected back across the highway.

Once on the south shoulder, the pickup truck collided with an embankment and came
to a stop. Troopers say the man suffered fatal injuries at the crash scene.
