LARGO, Fla. — Authorities are searching for a man who robbed a local bank on Monday afternoon before riding away on a bicycle, according to the Largo Police Department.
Officers were called to the Valley Bank branch at 1125 East Bay Drive around 1:34 p.m. on Aug. 24 following reports of a robbery.
Investigators said a male suspect walked into the building wearing a dark sports jacket over a green button-down shirt, blue jeans, black sneakers, and a straw hat. After the robbery, the man fled the scene riding a dark-colored mountain bike.
Police did not specify whether a weapon was shown or how much money, if any, was taken. No injuries have been reported.
The department stated the investigation remains active and ongoing, with no other details currently released.
