With eight days remaining until Florida’s primary election, Republican gubernatorial candidate Byron Donalds has released the full roster of county chairs appointed to lead his campaign efforts across the state.
The announced leadership team spans counties from the Panhandle to South Florida. The roster includes a mix of current elected officials, local law enforcement officers, business leaders, and community organizers.
Among the prominent appointees is Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, who joins several other high-profile law enforcement figures on the roster, including Seminole County Sheriff Dennis Lemma, Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey, and Duval County Sheriff TK Waters.
The campaign also named multiple state lawmakers to county leadership roles, such as State Sen. Debbie Mayfield in Brevard County, State Rep. Fiona McFarland in Sarasota County, and State Rep. Griff Griffitts in Bay County.
“This is an absolutely incredible team of leaders who know their communities and know what matters to Florida families,” Donalds said in a statement accompanying the release. “Our campaign is building a grassroots movement that is reaching every corner of the state, and I’m proud to have these outstanding leaders on our team. With just eight days to go, we’re working harder than ever: we will win big for Florida and deliver lower costs, safe streets, and common sense in the Governor’s Mansion.”
The appointed chairs will oversee local campaign operations, voter outreach, and get-out-the-vote efforts in their respective counties through the final stretch before election day.
