POLK COUNTY, Fla. – Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd shared details Wednesday of a chaotic domestic incident involving a Polk City woman who was arrested after allegedly getting “rip roaring drunk,” attacking her husband, and resisting deputies.

Judd said that 24-year-old Leylani Sullivan was taken into custody after her husband called 911. The Sheriff described Sullivan as having gotten “rip roaring drunk,” an intoxication level that led her to “took off every bit of her clothes.”

According to the Sheriff, deputies found Sullivan in the front yard of her home after she had been “biting and slapping around her husband.”

The trouble continued during the arrest when Sullivan allegedly fought with a female deputy who was trying to help her get dressed.

“She started fighting with the female deputy,” Sheriff Judd stated.

The Sheriff concluded his remarks by posing a rhetorical question about the severity of the incident: “How much do you have to drink, alcohol that is, to rip off all your clothes, slap your husband around, bite him and then lay down in the front yard?”
