Polk County Sheriff Seeking Suspect In Publix Bike Theft

POLK COUNTY, FL. – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a retail theft that occurred at the Publix store at 2414 Sand Mine Road in the Four Corners area of Davenport.

The theft occurred on February 1st at around 6:00 PM.

According to deputies, the victim parked his bicycle outside the store and went inside for about ten minutes. When he came back outside, the bike was gone.

The bike is described as a Specialized Hardrock, silver & black in color, with a sticker near the seat which says, “The Peddler Bike Shop, Long Branch, New Jersey.”

The person in this photo is the suspect, according to investigators.
