Poll: Byron Donalds Holds Commanding 48% Lead In Florida GOP Gubernatorial Primary

A new survey released by the Tyson Group shows Congressman Byron Donalds holding a 48% support rate among Republican primary voters in Florida’s gubernatorial race.

The poll, first highlighted by Florida Politics, puts Donalds nearly 40 percentage points ahead of the rest of the primary field with only weeks remaining before the August vote.

According to the data, Donalds draws his strongest backing from the highest-turnout Republican demographics. This includes “3-of-3” primary voters—those who have voted in the last three consecutive primary elections—as well as seniors and frequent Fox News viewers.

The polling surge follows an official endorsement from former President Donald Trump, which preceded a string of additional endorsements from various conservative figures across both Florida and the national political landscape.
