TAMPA, Fla. – La La’s Sangria Bar in Tampa is planning a Prince-inspired evening for their Inaugural New Year’s Eve party.
The event is scheduled to take place December 31from 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. There is no cover charge and free parking is available on a first come first serve basis.
“Prince’s energy, creative genius and ability to help us forget the past has influenced us for years. What better year to turn back the clock, forget about 2020 and party like it’s 1999,” said John English. “We’ve created an immersive experience that we hope everyone will enjoy.”
Guests ringing in the New Year can anticipate a champagne toast at midnight and watching the celebration on their 11 TV’s as an hourly reason to toast to friends abroad, as the shift to 2021 makes its way around the world.
For one night only, partygoers can purchase the limited batch New Year’s Eve specialty blends.
“Our team of mixologists have become known for their ability to create one-of-a-kind drink recipes and we can’t wait for guests to try our Purple Rain, Little Red Corvette and Kiss specialty drinks, all attributed to some of Prince’s top hits,” said English.
The popular new spot is the first-of-its-kind restaurant and bar to serve eight different types of hand-crafted sangria on-tap, which are all-natural, made in-house and have no sugar added.
Currently, the sangria flavor options include a house red, orange-hibiscus, red-berry, blueberry-lemon-thyme, strawberry-basil-lemonade, tropical paradise, and rosemary mixed-berry.
In addition to the sangria options, the 4,000 square-foot, full-alcohol bar offers mixed drinks and a handful of craft beers along with the standard domestics and imports. Additionally, La La’s kitchen offers flatbreads, sliders, salads, sandwiches, wings, desserts and a special called Johnny’s Meatballs and more.
La La’s Sangria Bar is open 6 days-a-week, Tuesday-Sunday, from 4 p.m. until 3 a.m., is dog-friendly, and offers military and veteran discounts.
