SAINT PETERSBURG, Fla. – The grand opening of the St. Pete Pier is under way and the St. Pete Peace protesters are gathering at North Straub Park.
Our reporter, Tiffany Razzano, on the ground says that 50 or so protesters have gathered in the park and may march to the pier opening. Razzano said also said that social distancing at the pier grand opening was not being adhered to as well as many of the attendees not wearing masks to slow the spread of COVID-19.
