Rapper ‘Kent Won’t Stop’ Found Dead in Car Trunk, Florida

Aspiring Rap Artist, Brian Trotter aka ‘Kent Wont Stop’, was found dead in the trunk of his friend’s car Sunday.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers say they responded to a single-vehicle car crash on The Palmetto Expressway southbound near Northwest 154th Street around 4 p.m. Sunday and encountered the driver, Robert Avery Coltrain.

Coltrain removed some belongings from his car, including a Glock .45 pistol., according to troopers reports, and said that because of the foul smell, troopers opened the trunk of the vehicle and discovered the body of Brian Trotter.

Trotter, a Virginia man, and an aspiring rap artist who went by the name ‘Kent Won’t Stop’, disappeared on Oct. 17th. His family reported him missing to the police and called Coltrain, who gave investigators conflicting information about where Trotter was. Coltrain allegedly said he dropped Trotter off in DC and claimed another friend picked the 25-year-old up.

At some point, Coltrain drove to Florida from Virginia, where he got into a car accident, with his friend’s body in the trunk. Coltrain is being held at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, where he was booked on Monday afternoon under charges of second-degree murder with a weapon and transportation/violation of human remains.
