ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Baseball fans can mark their calendars. The Tampa Bay Rays have announced their 2026 Spring Training schedule. The team will launch Grapefruit League play at their Port Charlotte, Fla., home against the Atlanta Braves on Saturday, February 21.
The Rays’ 30-game exhibition schedule is packed with action and unique events.
Highlights include:
- Opening Day: Hosting the Atlanta Braves on February 21.
- International Exhibition: An exhibition game against the Netherlands national team on Wednesday, March 4, serving as a critical tune-up ahead of the 2026 World Baseball Classic.
- Spring Breakout: The third annual Spring Breakout Game on Thursday, March 19, where the Rays’ top prospects will face the New York Mets prospects in Port St. Lucie, Fla. The Rays will also play a regular split-squad game against the Phillies that day.
The schedule features matchups against several Grapefruit League rivals, including four games against the Boston Red Sox, four against the Minnesota Twins, and five total meetings with the Atlanta Braves. The team will also host the New York Yankees on Tuesday, March 17.

The team will have two off-days during the slate, on Thursday, March 12, and Wednesday, March 18. The full schedule concludes with an away game against the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday, March 24.
