St. Petersburg Fire & Rescue responded to a two-alarm condo fire early Sunday morning.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – St. Petersburg Fire & Rescue responded to a two-alarm condo fire early Sunday morning.

According to officials, at approximately 2:30 am St. Petersburg Fire Rescue responded to the Enclave at Sable Point Condos on 54th Ave S for a unit that was on fire.

“No injuries to residents or firefighters. The family that was in the condo that caught fire was able to escape and notify neighbors to get out of the building,” said St. Petersburg Fire & Rescue.

Fire officials say the Red Cross is assisting three families that were impacted by the fire.

Fire investigators are on the scene and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
