A familiar face to the Baker County Detention Center is back in jail after some proactive police work on Monday afternoon.
Dalton Lauramore, 22, was stopped by Deputy Tyler Curry with the Baker County Sheriff’s Office, while driving a vehicle with a license plate attached that was not assigned.
According to investigators, while inquiring about the traffic violation, deputies made some observations that resulted in Narcotics Detective Sergeant Buck Dyal’s response to the scene with K9 Beta.
When K9 Beta alerted deputies to the presence of narcotics within Lauramore’s vehicle, a search of the car ended with a seizure of 145 grams of marijuana, 23 grams of methamphetamine, multiple ecstasy pills, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
