LAKELAND, Fla. – A 23-year-old Auburndale man with a lengthy criminal record was arrested early Tuesday morning after deputies responded to a burglary in progress in Lakeland.
Michael Culbreth, whose prior charges include Burglary, Grand Theft, Arson, and multiple drug possessions (Methamphetamine, Marijuana, Cocaine), was taken into custody by Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) deputies at approximately 6:00 a.m. on South Combee Road.
Deputies reportedly caught Culbreth on the scene and found him in possession of a pair of scissors, a glass pipe containing methamphetamine, and multiple debit cards and ID cards that weren’t his.
Culbreth was transported to the Sheriff’s Processing Center and faces new charges, including: Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Possession of Personal Identification, and Trespassing.
