No Injuries Reported After Tampa Man’s Truck Flips During Left Turn
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A major intersection was brought to a standstill Thursday afternoon after a tractor-trailer overturned while attempting a left turn, blocking southbound lanes and causing significant traffic delays. The driver, a 51-year-old man from Tampa, was uninjured in the incident.
According to authorities, the accident occurred at approximately 12:48 PM at the intersection of Riverview Drive and US-41. The driver of Vehicle 1 was traveling westbound on Riverview Drive and was in the process of making a left turn when the tractor-trailer tipped onto its side.

The overturned vehicle came to rest in the southbound lanes, completely obstructing the flow of traffic on US-41. Emergency crews and tow trucks were dispatched to the scene to clear the wreckage and reopen the roadway.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was evaluated by paramedics at the scene but did not require transport to a hospital. His identity has not been released.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the rollover. Crews were still working to clear the scene, and motorists were advised to seek alternate routes to avoid the area.
