POLK COUNTY, Fla. – Polk County deputies didn’t have to look very hard to find a wanted fugitive early Wednesday morning. They found the suspect sound asleep in the driveway of his ex-girlfriend’s house.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies were searching for 38-year-old Joseph Adam Hall of Davenport to serve a warrant for Violation of Probation related to a third DUI conviction.
Around 3:00 a.m., deputies arrived at a home in the Sunridge Woods neighborhood, located off Ronald Reagan Parkway in Loughman. While checking the premises, they spotted a white Dodge Journey parked outside. inside the SUV was Hall, asleep in the vehicle.

The wake-up call led to more legal trouble for Hall. As deputies took him into custody, they discovered an improvised smoking device containing methamphetamine in his possession.
Hall was transported to the Sheriff’s Processing Center. He is now facing new charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia in addition to the original warrant for Violation of Probation.
