Nota AI has secured a critical role in the future of Samsung Electronics’ mobile hardware, announcing a new agreement to provide optimization technology for the upcoming Exynos 2600 application processor (AP).
The deal marks a continued partnership between the two companies, following a similar contract for the Exynos 2500. It cements Nota AI’s position as a key player in the race to bring powerful, generative AI directly to smartphones without relying on cloud servers.
At the core of the agreement is Nota AI’s proprietary platform, NetsPresso. The company claims this technology can compress AI models by more than 90% without sacrificing accuracy. For mobile chips like the Exynos 2600, this “lightweighting” is essential. It allows massive generative AI models to run smoothly on the device itself, ensuring faster response times and better privacy since data doesn’t need to leave the phone.

As part of the collaboration, Nota AI will help build the next version of Samsung’s Exynos AI Studio. The goal is to automate the complex process of optimizing AI models, making it easier for developers to deploy the latest software on Samsung hardware.
Myungsu Chae, CEO of Nota AI, highlighted the depth of the partnership, which dates back to the Exynos 2400.
“This ongoing collaboration… proves that Nota AI’s technology creates tangible value when combined with Samsung’s hardware,” Chae said. “We are committed to establishing our technology as an indispensable pillar of the on-device AI era.”
With over a decade of experience in model optimization, Nota AI has been expanding its footprint beyond mobile. The company currently provides solutions for robotics, autonomous driving, and smart city infrastructure. This latest contract with Samsung serves as a major validation of their tech, signaling that major manufacturers view efficient, on-device processing as the next big hurdle for mobile technology.
