SARSOTA, Fla. – The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a bank robbery that occurred today at the USF Credit Union located at 3487 Clark Road. The incident, which took place shortly after noon, saw a lone male suspect flee with an undisclosed amount of cash.
According to authorities, a dark-skinned male entered the credit union at approximately 12:04 p.m. and demanded money from a teller. After obtaining the cash, the suspect exited the building and was last seen running northbound in the direction of Bronx Avenue.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the robbery.
