SARASOTA, FL. – Sarasota Police detectives are investigating a shooting in the 3000 block of North Washington Boulevard (US 301) in Sarasota.
According to police, the shooting happened just before 7 a.m. on Saturday and Detectives believe this is an isolated incident and the public is not in any danger.
Several people are being questioned by Sarasota Police detectives. Sarasota Police officers were dispatched to a call of shots fired.
When officers arrived, they found one man hurt from a gunshot wound. The man was transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
