SARASOTA, Fla. — Sarasota police are asking for the public’s help to track down a Palmetto man wanted in connection with a shooting at Booker High School earlier this month.
Authorities have issued an active arrest warrant for 27-year-old Dameon Jashuan Brydson. He faces charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm on school property following an incident at the campus on Saturday, July 18.
According to the Sarasota Police Department, Brydson is a four-time convicted felon and is currently on probation for felon in possession of a firearm.
Anyone who knows Brydson’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact Crime Stoppers of Sarasota at 941-366-TIPS.
