The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance from the public in locating a missing endangered adult. Menno Emmanuel Mullet was last seen on Saturday at approximately 5:00 a.m. at a residence off Kruppa Ave in Sarasota.

SARASOTA, Fla. – The 85-year-old man that deputies were searching for has been located safe, according to investigators.

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office was seeking assistance from the public in locating a missing endangered adult. Menno Emmanuel Mullet was last seen on Saturday at approximately 5:00 a.m. at a residence off Kruppa Ave in Sarasota. 

Deputies say Mullet has the beginning signs of dementia and gets easily lost.

“Mr. Mullet and his family are visiting from out of state and he does not normally drive.  He left this morning in the family’s 2010 Maroon Chevy Traverse with Indiana license plate RFX309,” said Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office.

Through investigative means, Mr. Mullet was last known to be headed northbound on Highway 17 at 8:34 a.m. in Fort Meade in Polk County, Florida.
