TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred early Saturday morning at a business on West Hillsborough Avenue. The incident was reported just before 8:00 a.m. at LV Nails & Spa, located at 2513 W. Hillsborough Ave.
According to police reports, two armed suspects entered the establishment and assaulted a male employee. The suspects, described as two white males, were reportedly wearing brown hoodies, jeans, and COVID-style face masks. One of the individuals is described as being approximately 5’5″ tall. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the pair fled the building and was last seen heading eastbound.

The employee involved in the assault received medical attention at the scene. Authorities confirmed that his injuries were minor.
Detectives remained at the shop throughout the morning to collect evidence and interview potential witnesses. No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation remains active as officials work to identify the suspects.
