Scott Jennings Torches Narrative On Trump Health: ‘It’s Just Not True’

Republican strategist Scott Jennings isn’t buying the sudden chatter about President Donald Trump’s health. Appearing on television Tuesday night, Jennings dismissed recent speculation as nothing more than a political pivot by Democrats still stinging from the Biden era.

The pushback came during a segment on “The Arena with Kasie Hunt,” where the host pressed Jennings on why Trump had abruptly mentioned undergoing an MRI in October. While the White House has maintained the scan was a routine checkup, questions lingered about whether the mention signaled confusion.

Jennings rejected the premise entirely.

“I honestly think this is an attempt to create a narrative about this guy that just doesn’t exist because Democrats are so butthurt over having to live through the humiliation of the White House under Biden, claiming he was fine when he clearly wasn’t,” Jennings told Hunt. “They want to transfer that to Donald Trump. It’s just not the same. It’s not true.”

Jennings pointed to a marathon three-hour Cabinet meeting held earlier Tuesday—after which Trump took questions from the press—as evidence of the President’s stamina. He also cited his own recent experience with Trump.

“I saw the man a few days ago in the Oval Office for about an hour. He looked and sounded fine to me,” Jennings added, noting the office was as bustling as he had ever seen it. “I didn’t notice anything at all.”

The speculation stems from comments made Monday by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who confirmed Trump underwent an MRI in October. She described it as part of a routine executive physical designed to rule out cardiovascular issues, noting that thorough abdominal and cardiovascular evaluations are beneficial for men in the President’s age group.

According to Leavitt, the advanced imaging served a preventive purpose and the results were clear, showing no inflammation or clotting and normal abdominal imaging.

The White House subsequently released a physician’s note affirming Trump’s “excellent overall health.” This followed a casual remark from Trump to reporters on Sunday regarding the MRI, where he admitted he had “no idea” which part of his body doctors had actually examined.
