WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. – Josiah Ramos has been located and is safe, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.
ORIGINAL REPORT: The Pasco Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing and endangered teenager who vanished Thursday afternoon. Deputies have been scouring the area around Wesley Chapel Boulevard since 13-year-old Josiah Ramos was last spotted around 3:15 p.m. on February 12.
According to investigators, Ramos was last seen near the intersection of Tampa Downs Boulevard and Steel Dust Lane. Descriptions provided by authorities list Ramos as 5’2″ tall and weighing approximately 120 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
At the time of his disappearance, he was dressed in a tan hoodie, blue jeans, and was carrying a black backpack.

The Sheriff’s Office has classified the boy as endangered, though specific details regarding the nature of the risk have not been released to the public. Search efforts continued through the night and into Friday morning as officials hope for a safe return.
