Missing Wesley Chapel 14-Year-Old Located Safe

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Jayda Mathis has been located and is safe, according to the Pasco Sheriff’s Office.


Authorities in Pasco County are asking for the public’s help to find a 14-year-old girl who has been missing since Monday afternoon.

Jayda Mathis was last seen around 3:30 p.m. on February 9 in the Angus Valley Drive area of Wesley Chapel. According to the Pasco Sheriff’s Office, Mathis is being sought as a missing runaway.

Mathis is described as being 4 feet 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds. She has blonde hair and green eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a white sweater paired with blue jeans. Deputies have been canvassing the local area, but her current location remains unknown.

Local law enforcement is urging anyone who might have spotted Mathis or who has information regarding where she might be to reach out immediately. Information can be shared by calling the Pasco Sheriff’s non-emergency line at 727-847-8102, selecting option 7.
