SARASOTA, Fla.- The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing and endangered man last seen in the City of Sarasota. Eric Frank Ballard, 64, was last located on April 17, 2026, at 10:39 p.m.
Ballard is described as a white male, 6 feet 1 inch tall, and weighing 225 pounds. He was last seen operating a bronze 2011 Subaru Outback with Florida tag GYAL88. According to investigators, the vehicle was traveling eastbound on Siesta Drive near San Remo Terrace.
Authorities have classified Ballard as an endangered person. No further details regarding his disappearance or physical description have been provided.

The Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance from the public to locate him.
“Anyone with information regarding Mr. Ballard’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office at 941-316-1201 or their local law enforcement agency,” the agency stated.
