An 18-year-old St. Petersburg man has been arrested in the murder of a teen in December.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – An 18-year-old St. Petersburg man has been arrested in the December murder of a 15-year-old.

On February 14th, St. Petersburg Police arrested David Moore,18, and charged him with 1st-degree felony murder in the death of 15-year-old Zy’Kiquiro Lofton.

He is the second suspect to be arrested in connection with this homicide, according to police.

Shortly after 9 p.m., on December 29th, Zy’Kiquiro Lofton was shot when he was walking near 9th Avenue South and 16th Street South.

On December 30th, Deonte Bishop, age 17, was arrested and charged with 1st-degree felony murder.
