RIVERVIEW, Fla. – Hillsborough County firefighters in Riverview faced a demanding Tuesday morning, responding to their second residential blaze of the day before noon.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue (HCFR) units were dispatched to 11618 Iris Spring Court at 9:41 a.m. after the Emergency Communications Center received a flurry of 911 calls reporting the fire.
When the first engine rolled up to the scene, crews reported heavy smoke pouring from the single-story home. Firefighters immediately launched an offensive attack, entering the residence to locate the source of the flames.

According to officials, the crews worked quickly, bringing the situation under control in about 16 minutes.
During the operation, rescue teams conducted a thorough search of the property and confirmed that no one was inside at the time of the fire. HCFR reported no injuries to either civilians or first responders.
The American Red Cross has been called in to provide assistance to the residents displaced by the damage. The HCFR Fire Investigations Unit remains on the scene to determine what sparked the fire.
