SUMTER COUNTY, Fla. – A tractor-trailer overturned on Interstate 75 on Friday afternoon after the driver lost control on a wet stretch of the highway, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

State troopers reported that the crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. near milepost 307. A 38-year-old man from Deltona was driving the semi-truck northbound when the vehicle, which authorities noted had bald tires, lost traction on the slick roadway.

The tractor-trailer rotated into the inside median, flipped over, and crashed into the median guardrail.
