POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A fugitive wanted on multiple warrants was arrested Thursday night in Davenport after deputies reportedly found her in the act of ‘consuming’ illegal narcotics.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office stated that deputies converged on a residence on Jocelyn Drive around 9:50 p.m. on January 15, acting on intelligence regarding the location of 40-year-old Ashley Anne Dye.
Dye was being sought on outstanding warrants from Seminole County for violation of probation related to fleeing law enforcement, as well as possession of fentanyl and cocaine.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, upon entering a room in the residence, deputies discovered Dye in the process of snorting methamphetamine through a straw. She was immediately taken into custody without further incident.
In addition to her existing warrants, Dye now faces new charges in Polk County for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transported to the Sheriff’s Processing Center for booking.
