PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — Polls open at 7:00 a.m. this Tuesday, December 9, for the special election in Pasco County, though not every resident will be heading to the voting booth. Supervisor of Elections Brian E. Corley has confirmed that this election is exclusive to voters residing within State Senate District 11.
Voting locations will remain open until 7:00 p.m. Officials are urging residents to verify their eligibility and specific polling location before heading out by checking PascoVotes.gov.
This step is particularly important for anyone who has moved recently and hasn’t updated their address, as they will need to allow extra time to update their registration record at the polls.

Under Florida law, voters must present valid photo and signature identification. Anyone who arrives without proper ID will have to cast a provisional ballot.
“Reminding everyone what’s required on Election Day ensures a smoother voting experience,” Corley said, emphasizing the department’s commitment to running a “flawless, transparent election” for the community.
