TAMPA, Fla. – The University of South Florida just added a major weapon to its backcourt. On Friday, head coach Kristy Curry confirmed that former Clemson and Chattanooga guard Hannah Kohn has officially signed with the Bulls.
The 5-foot-9 Oviedo native returns to the Sunshine State for her final year of eligibility, bringing a lethal long-range game back to her roots.
Kohn arrives in Tampa with a reputation as one of the most prolific perimeter threats in the country. Over her collegiate career, she has knocked down 190 three-pointers at a 37% clip. Her arrival marks a bit of a family reunion; her uncle, Reggie Kohn, was a standout starter for the USF men’s program from 1999 to 2003.
“We are so excited to have Hannah join our Bulls family! She is a winner! She is a gritty, tough competitor who is an elite shooter,” Curry said. “She has competed in multiple NCAA tournaments and she understands what it takes to compete at the highest level. We are thrilled to welcome her to Tampa Bay’s Home for Hoops!”

Kohn spent the last two seasons at Clemson, where she became a household name for her clutch performances. This past season, she averaged 4.7 points and hit 43 threes, including the dramatic game-winner that upset No. 9 Duke.
That shot was later honored as the ACC Nothing But Net Moment of the Year. Her sophomore campaign was even more statistically dominant, as she sank 79 triples—the second-most in a single season in Clemson history—and ranked 32nd nationally in three-pointers per game.
Before her stint in the ACC, Kohn began her college journey at Chattanooga, where she led the Southern Conference and ranked third in the nation in three-point shooting percentage at .463. Her efficiency was nearly unmatched, ranking 15th in the country in effective field goal percentage.
Her knack for the deep ball is nothing new. During her high school days at Hagerty, Kohn grabbed national headlines by shattering a record with 19 made three-pointers in a single game, finishing that night with 61 points.
Kohn joins a Bulls roster looking to capitalize on her veteran experience and deep-range gravity. With her father, Josh, having played professionally and her mother, Tiffany, playing collegiate softball, the newest Bull brings a high-level athletic pedigree to a USF squad aiming for another deep postseason run.
