BROOKSVILLE, FL. – On Sunday at 9:12 p.m., Hernando County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a residence on Panorama Street in Brooksville in reference to a shooting incident.
Within minutes deputies arrived on the scene where they found two individuals who had sustained gunshot wounds.
One of the individuals died at the scene.
The second individual was transported to an area trauma center for treatment.
Preliminary investigation reveals the incident was domestic in nature. All parties involved were immediately accounted for, and there was no danger to the community.
