Located Safe: Silver Alert Canceled For Missing 88-Year-Old Palm Harbor Woman

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Sumathi Kulasingham has been located and is safe, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.


ORIGINAL REPORT: Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating 88-year-old Sumathi Kulasingham, who went missing Thursday afternoon during a trip to a medical appointment. The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office issued a Silver Alert for the Palm Harbor resident after she failed to return home.

According to investigators, Kulasingham was last spotted around 12:06 P.M. near the intersection of State Road 54 and the Suncoast Parkway in Pasco County.

She is traveling in a grey 2025 Mazda CX-5 with the Florida license plate number 02AJDQ.

Deputies have officially entered Kulasingham into the Florida Crime Information Center as a missing and endangered adult, noting that she suffers from memory-related issues that may leave her confused or disoriented.

Law enforcement officials are urging anyone who sees the vehicle or has information regarding Kulasingham’s current location to contact police immediately.
