Silver Alert Canceled For Missing 69-Year-Old Clearwater Woman, Located Safe

CLEARWATER, Fla. – Jennifer Karriem has been located and is safe, according to the Clearwater Police Department.


ORIGINAL REPORT: Clearwater police are asking for the public’s help to locate a 69-year-old woman with early onset dementia who went missing Monday afternoon.

Jennifer Karriem left her apartment on McMullen Booth Road on Monday and has not been seen since, according to the Clearwater Police Department. Authorities have since issued a statewide Silver Alert.

Karriem is described as just over 5 feet tall and weighing around 110 pounds, with brown eyes and gray and black hair.

At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing dark pants and a dark shirt featuring a white logo. Officers noted that she typically wears a lot of gold jewelry on her wrist.

Investigators believe she is likely driving a tan 2020 Mini Cooper with the Florida license plate NQYL07.

Anyone who sees Karriem or has information regarding her whereabouts is asked to contact the Clearwater Police Department immediately at 727-562-4242.
