“Simply Recovery” Florida Woman, Owner Of Drug Rehab Clinic Arrested Selling Fentanyl To Clients

The owner of a Florida-based drug rehab clinic was arrested earlier this week after selling Fentanyl to a law enforcement informant.

Misty Gilley, 50, and owner of Simply Recovery LLC. was booked on felony narcotics charges after an investigation found that Gilley was selling Fentynal and Cocaine to her clients, people she was supposed to be helping.

According to Seminole County Sheriff’s office, a confidential informant set up a meeting to purchase Fentanyl at Gilley’s home. At that time authorities say that Gilley sold the informant .7 grams of Fentanyl for $160.

On October 25, 2021, a search warrant was executed at Gilley’s’ “Simply Recovery” in Altamonte Springs.

Investigators say that during the search, a backpack was discovered and contained multiple used needles, one gram of fentanyl, and cocaine.

Located inside of a “group therapy room” was a small garbage can filled with 1″x1″ baggies with fentanyl residue, multiple bloody tissues, bloody filters, and used needles.

A search warrant was executed at Gilley’s home, where investigators again located multiple 1″x1″ baggies of fentanyl.

“Gilley was running a facility targeting a vulnerable population, and preying on those looking for hope while battling a vicious disease,” said Seminole County Sheriff investigators in the arrest report.

    1. I read this article and it’s heartbreaking to imagine this woman along with so many other people taking advantage but worse yet this is a drug dealer in sheep’s clothing that has been getting away with it for how long I wonder how many people she’s been responsible for killing I’ve seen more funerals than I have weddings during this generation it breaks my heart on a daily basis
