Sky-High Prep: Clearwater Library Takes Hurricane Readiness To The Roof This Week

CLEARWATER, Fla. – Clearwater residents looking to lock down their storm plans have an upcoming opportunity to meet with experts from a different vantage point. The Clearwater Public Library System is hosting an informational event titled “Hurricane Preparedness on the Roof” this Wednesday evening.

The session runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Main Library, located at 100 N. Osceola Ave.

City emergency management staff will be on-site to distribute resources and walk attendees through the essentials of storm readiness. The event will cover how to pinpoint local evacuation zones, map out family emergency plans, and access city-provided preparedness tools.

Officials will also share practical, step-by-step measures homeowners can take to secure their property before a storm develops in the region.
