SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. – A small plane crashed into a pond Saturday, send one occupant of the plane to the hospital.
The Sarasota Sheriff’s Office is currently assisting the Federal Aviation Administration reference to the plane crash this afternoon in Venice, Florida.
A small plane made an emergency landing in a pond at Pelican Pointe Golf and Country Club at 499 Derbyshire Dr. Venice, Fl 34285.
Officials say the pilot had referenced engine problems.
Deputies say there were two occupants on board, with one transported to hospital for observation.
