HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – A 49-year-old Spring Hill man lost his life late Wednesday night in a single-vehicle crash along Frontage Road.

It remains unclear exactly what caused the driver to veer off course.
Investigators report that after losing control, the Mustang careened off the roadway and collided heavily with a tree. The driver sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
FHP has not released the identity of the driver as the investigation into the cause of the crash continues.
