Spring Hill Man Killed In Overnight Motorcycle Crash On Mariner Blvd.

HERNANDO COUNTY, FL. – A 58-year-old Spring Hill man was killed overnight in a motorcycle crash that happened around 12:30 am Sunday.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, was riding a motorcycle southbound on Mariner Boulevard while a car was traveling northbound.

Troopers say near the intersection of Casa Grande Circle, the man somehow lost control of the motorcycle, entered the median, collided with a stormwater drain cover, overturned, and continued into the northbound lanes and collided with the car.

The man died at the scene from injuries suffered in the crash. The driver of the car, a 28-year-old Spring Hill woman, suffered only minor injuries in the collision.
