Spring Hill Woman Killed After Kia Soul Turns Into Path Of Van

SPRING HILL, Fla.- A 61-year-old Spring Hill woman died following a two-vehicle collision late Friday night at the intersection of Drayton Street and County Line Road.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 11:30 PM.

State troopers reported that the woman was driving a Kia Soul northbound on Drayton Street. At the same time, a 40-year-old Brooksville man was driving eastbound on County Line Road in a Ford E350 van.

When the two vehicles reached the intersection, the driver of the Kia Soul attempted to make a left turn. Investigators say she turned directly into the path of the oncoming van, resulting in the Ford E350 striking her vehicle.
