All 13 City Fire Stations Invite the Community for a Family-Friendly Day of Tours, Demos, and Fire Safety on Saturday, October 4th
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – St. Petersburg Fire Rescue (SPFR) is preparing to welcome the public behind the scenes for its annual Open House event, taking place on Saturday, October 4th, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
All 13 fire stations across the city will open their doors for an interactive and educational experience designed for visitors of all ages. This is a unique opportunity for residents to meet the firefighters and paramedics who serve their neighborhoods daily and get a firsthand look at the life of a first responder.
The family-friendly event will feature a range of activities, including:
- Station tours and equipment demonstrations, giving the community a close-up look at the specialized tools and vehicles used in fire rescue operations.
- Meet-and-greets with local first responders.
- The chance to learn vital fire safety and prevention tips through hands-on demonstrations.
Attendees, especially children, are encouraged to bring their curiosity and questions for the emergency personnel. Light refreshments will be provided, ensuring a fun and informative morning for the whole family.
