Man Stabs 60-Year-Old Victim Multiple Times in Broad Daylight Attack
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – A local man was arrested today for attempted first-degree murder after a violent stabbing incident that left a 60-year-old man with serious injuries. The attack, which stemmed from an argument over just ten dollars, occurred inside a vehicle on Central Avenue.
Calvin Holland, 44, was taken into custody by police shortly after the incident, which happened at approximately 9:44 a.m. this morning.

According to police, Holland and the victim were both passengers in a vehicle located at 3554 Central Avenue when a verbal dispute erupted between the two men over a $10.
The altercation escalated when Holland, who was in the front passenger seat, exited the vehicle. He allegedly walked around to the back and, through an open backseat window, stabbed the victim multiple times.

The victim sustained serious injuries in the attack and was transported to a local hospital. His current condition has not been released.
Holland fled the scene on foot immediately after the stabbing. However, a response by law enforcement led to his arrest a short time later. Holland has been charged with attempted murder in the first degree.
