St. Petersburg Police Seek Driver In Fatal Hit-And-Run On Dartmoor Street North

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The St. Petersburg Police Department is actively searching for the driver of a vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred late Friday night.

A 61-year-old woman was struck and killed while crossing Dartmoor Street North at Joyce Terrace North around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, October 3. The woman was walking from west to east across the street when an unknown vehicle hit her.

The driver immediately fled the scene, police said. The victim died from her injuries. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased woman.

The incident is currently an active investigation.
