The city’s waterfront will be the epicenter of excitement, featuring the popular St. Pete Pier Run and the inaugural Red, White & Views Festival, culminating in a dazzling fireworks display on July 4th.
The patriotic proceedings kick off bright and early on Friday, July 4, with the 5th Annual St. Pete Pier Run. This scenic 4-mile run/walk will start at the iconic St. Pete Pier and loop along the picturesque waterfront, offering breathtaking views for participants of all fitness levels, including families and those with strollers.

Following the invigorating run, the celebration shifts to Spa Beach Park for the much-anticipated Red, White & Views Festival. This brand-new event promises to transform the downtown waterfront into a dynamic patriotic playground, spanning both July 4 and July 5.
Highlights for Friday, July 4th, include:
- Live musical performances by the esteemed 13th US Army Band, setting a patriotic tone.
- A diverse array of food trucks and local vendors offering culinary delights.
- Engaging family-friendly activities and beach games for all ages.
- A spectacular fireworks display at 9 p.m., weather permitting, painting the night sky over the bay. Prime viewing spots are available from the Pier, Vinoy Park, and Bayshore Drive.
