Plant City’s beloved berry bash reflects on its evolution with a new theme celebrating growth in agriculture, entertainment, and community.
PLANT CITY, Fla. – The Florida Strawberry Festival is still growing. On Monday, festival organizers announced “Still Growing” as the theme for the 91st annual event, a nod to the festival’s continuous evolution in attendance, attractions, and agricultural showcases.
“’Still Growing’ beautifully captures who we are as a Festival and as a community,” said Pam Warnock, Chairman of the Board for the Florida Strawberry Festival. “We are growing in the number of guests we welcome, in the rides and attractions we offer, in our agriculture and livestock shows, and in the strawberries that make Plant City so special.”

A unique theme is developed for the festival each year to offer patrons a glimpse of what to expect and to unify vendors, exhibitors, and community groups, who incorporate the theme into their displays and parade floats. The chosen theme sets the tone for the 11-day event.
This year’s theme artwork features the festival’s iconic strawberry character at the center of a vibrant scene. Sporting sunglasses and a farmer’s hat, the beloved berry holds a crate of fresh strawberries in front of the GT Grandstands, surrounded by a field of berries and lively festival scenes. The design not only celebrates the festival’s growth but also honors Plant City’s deep roots in the strawberry industry.

Warnock emphasized the festival’s commitment to its origins. “The Florida Strawberry Festival has always been rooted in agriculture and family traditions,” she said. “Just like the strawberries we celebrate, we are still growing, and that growth allows us to provide new experiences while honoring the heritage that makes this Festival so loved.”
