The presumptive Republican nominees for Florida’s highest statewide offices are officially teaming up. U.S. Senator Ashley Moody and Congressman Byron Donalds announced a joint campaign tour across the state, pairing their schedules and exchanging formal endorsements ahead of the November election.
The strategy is designed to present a unified Republican front to voters as the campaign season enters its final months. According to the announcement, Moody and Donalds will launch a series of joint appearances and grassroots rallies to mobilize voters, showcase conservative legislative achievements, and contrast their platforms with the dynamic of the Democratic ticket.
The cross-endorsements bring together two prominent figures in Florida conservative politics, with each candidate praising the other’s track record in both state and federal government.
“Floridians deserve strong, principled leadership that puts our state first, I am proud to endorse my friend Byron Donalds,” Senator Moody said. “He is a proven conservative leader who will fight to make Florida safer, healthier, and more affordable as governor. I have worked with Byron in Tallahassee and in Washington to cut taxes, stop illegal immigration, lower the cost of prescription medicines, and hold government accountable. I look forward to working alongside Byron to defeat the Democrats in November and deliver common sense solutions for Floridians.”
Donalds, who is seeking the governor’s mansion, returned the endorsement by backing Moody’s bid to retain her seat in the U.S. Senate.
“Florida is fortunate to have a fighter like Senator Ashley Moody representing Floridians,” Congressman Donalds said. “Since becoming a Senator, Ashley has worked tirelessly alongside conservatives to advance America First priorities – securing the border, protecting law and order, and delivering results for Florida families. Her proven leadership as Attorney General and now as a United States Senator makes her the right choice to continue serving our state. I am proud to endorse Senator Ashley Moody for re-election to the United States Senate. Let’s keep her fighting for the Free State of Florida!”
Campaign officials stated that the upcoming joint events will anchor their messaging around several core pillars, specifically public safety, education reform, economic growth, and pushing back against federal regulations affecting Florida families and seniors.
Schedules for the specific tour stops and grassroots events are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
