Suspect With Extradition Warrant Out Of Tennessee Arrested In St. Pete For Multiple Home Burglaries

St. Petersburg Police arrested Nicholas Sherman, 33, for multiple residential burglaries in the Bartlett Park neighborhood over the last two months.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – St. Petersburg Police arrested Nicholas Sherman, 33, for multiple residential burglaries in the Bartlett Park neighborhood over the last two months.

According to police, Sherman is currently charged with four burglary cases but is a suspect in a total of twenty home burglaries in the same area and could face additional charges.

He smashed windows to enter homes and stole mostly electronics and at least one firearm, police say.

Sherman also had a warrant for his arrest out of Tennessee, with extradition. 

He is currently charged with:

  • Burglary unoccupied dwelling- 3 counts
  • Armed residential burglary
  • False verification – 4 counts
  • Felon in possession of a firearm
  • Scheme to defraud
  • Out of county warrant

Sherman’s bond is set at $220,000.
