TAMPA, Fla. – The injury list keeps growing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Nineteen Bucs players were listed on the Friday injury report. Only two are definitely out, safety Antoine Winfield Jr. and defensive lineman Calijah Kancey. Bucs head coach Todd Bowles is not only dealing with injuries but getting that bad taste out of their mouth after losing to the Broncos.
“It was out Monday, ” Bowles said. “We had a good practice. We have a 24-hour rule. They came out, and they flew around.”
The Bucs were feeling good about themselves, destroying the Commanders in Week 1 and upsetting the Lions on the road in Week 2.

But last Sunday, Tampa Bay was thoroughly beaten by a Denver Broncos squad that had been struggling. Combine that with all these injuries for the Bucs and it’s a challenge to get back up for the Eagles Sunday at Raymond James Stadium.
One of the injured players, right tackle Luke Goedeke, is in the final phase of concussion protocol. Bucs quarterback Baker Mayfield would be thrilled to have Goedeke back.
“Getting Luke back would be huge for us,” Mayfield said. “Obviously, within the run-pass game, but the run game as well. I don’t think he gets enough credit for the type of mauler offensive lineman that he really is.”

Running back Bucky Irving, Wide receiver Kam Johnson, tight end Ko Keift, and nose tackle Vita Vea are questionable. The Eagles have listed wide receiver Devonta Smith out with a concussion. Meanwhile, wide receiver A.J. Brown is questionable with a hamstring injury, and tackle Lane Johnson is questionable with a concussion.
The Eagles are coming off a 15-12 win over the Saints last Sunday but have lost to the Bucs 5 out of the last 6 meetings.
