TAMPA, Fla. – If you stepped outside early this morning, you probably felt that bite in the air. While we are looking at plenty of sunshine today, don’t let the blue skies fool you. It is going to stay pretty cool, with temperatures only reaching about 58 degrees. The wind makes it feel even colder, dropping wind chills down into the 20s, so you might want to keep a jacket handy if you are heading out.
Things get a bit frosty tonight.
Once the sun goes down, the temperature is set to drop to freezing, landing right around 32 degrees. If you are up early Thursday morning, you will likely see frost on the ground. The good news is that Thursday warms up nicely to 64 degrees after that cold start, giving us a break from the shivers.

By Friday, it will actually feel quite pleasant. We should see highs near 69 degrees, which is perfect for ending the work week. However, the weather takes a turn Friday night. Rain is likely to roll in after midnight, bringing wet roads and clouds.
That rain might stick around through Saturday morning, but the real story for the weekend is the wind. It is going to get blustery. Saturday stays in the mid-50s, but wind gusts could hit over 30 mph. Sunday looks even colder.
Despite the sun coming back out, highs will struggle to get past 46 degrees. Thankfully, the start of next week looks calm. We will see the sun return on Monday, and temperatures should climb back into the 60s by Tuesday.
