TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Bay Lightning are giving a young gun a shot. General Manager Julien BriseBois announced today that the team has recalled forward Dylan Duke from their AHL affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch.
Duke, a 21-year-old forward, turned heads last season with the University of Michigan Wolverines, leading the team in goals with 26 and racking up 49 points in 41 games.

Though he’s just 5’10” and 177 pounds, Duke plays with a fiery intensity. He briefly tasted AHL action last season, notching two assists in five Calder Cup Playoff games with the Crunch.
The Strongsville, Ohio native was originally drafted by the Lightning in the fourth round (126th overall) of the 2021 NHL Draft. Now, he’ll get a chance to prove he’s ready for the big leagues.
With his scoring touch and competitive drive, Duke could be a valuable addition to the Lightning’s forward lines. Keep an eye out for this rising star!
